Shape is your next choice. The C5, KS5, and TOTO WASHLET+ S7A Elongated Bidet fit elongated toilets. The S5 and S2 models are for round bowls. All units include the bidet seat itself. You select based on your toilet shape and whether you prefer a slim profile or a feature-rich, taller unit.

Who TOTO Bidet Seats Suit

TOTO’s range covers both elongated and round toilet shapes. You will find slim profiles under one inch high, like the C5 and S5, alongside bulkier units such as the S2. All listed models are cotton white. Remote controls appear on most picks, supporting personalized wash settings. Heated seats are standard on several models. You should note that no listed product offers app connectivity or smart home integration. If you need a tankless system, the S5 is your option. The selection prioritizes hygiene features like PREMIST misting and self-cleaning over complex digital interfaces.

How to choose the right TOTO bidet seat

1. Match toilet shape first

You must select a bidet that fits your toilet bowl shape. The TOTO C5 Elongated Bidet Seat and TOTO Washlet KS5 Elongated Bidet are designed for elongated bowls. These models measure 20.9 inches in length. If you have a round toilet, you need the TOTO Washlet S5 Round Bidet or the TOTO WASHLET S2 Round Electric Bidet. These round options are 19.1 inches long. Using the wrong shape will leave gaps or prevent proper installation. Check your toilet dimensions before buying.

2. Check height for clearance

Bidet seats vary significantly in height. The TOTO C5 Elongated Bidet Seat and TOTO Washlet S5 Round Bidet are very slim at 0.99 inches high. These low profiles suit users who prefer a minimal look. In contrast, the TOTO Washlet KS5 Elongated Bidet is 5.38 inches high. The TOTO WASHLET S2 Round Electric Bidet is 5.5 inches high. These bulkier units house more internal components. Measure the space under your toilet lid to ensure the bidet fits without obstruction. Height affects both aesthetics and functionality.

3. Prioritize remote control access

Many TOTO models include a remote control for easy operation. The TOTO C5 Elongated Bidet Seat offers PREMIST misting and a remote for users who prioritize bowl hygiene. The TOTO Washlet KS5 Elongated Bidet also features remote convenience and heated seats. This setup allows you to adjust water pressure and temperature without bending down. The TOTO WASHLET+ S7A Elongated Bidet includes a remote for personalized settings. If you prefer hands-free operation or easy adjustments, look for models that explicitly include a remote in their features.

4. Consider heated seat needs

Heated seats provide consistent warmth during use. The TOTO Washlet KS5 Elongated Bidet is highlighted for users who value heated seats. This feature is essential in colder climates or for comfort. The TOTO Washlet S5 Round Bidet delivers reliable, tankless warmth, ensuring water is heated instantly. The TOTO WASHLET S2 Round Electric Bidet focuses on basic hygiene functions. If you want a warm seat every time you sit, verify that the model specifies heated seat capabilities in its attributes.

5. Evaluate weight for stability

The weight of the bidet seat indicates its build quality and component density. The TOTO WASHLET S2 Round Electric Bidet weighs 16 pounds. The TOTO C5 Elongated Bidet Seat weighs 15.5 pounds. The TOTO Washlet KS5 Elongated Bidet is lighter at 11.2 pounds. Heavier units often contain more robust motors and heating elements. Lighter models may have simpler mechanisms. Consider the weight when assessing durability and feature complexity. A heavier bidet might offer more advanced functions but requires a sturdy toilet base for support.
