Who it fits
Good fit for
This vanity suits buyers with small bathrooms who need to maximize floor space. The 35.5-inch width fits well in compact layouts. You will appreciate the soft-closing drawers if you value quiet operation and safety for children. The white high-gloss surface and modern style fit well in contemporary decor. If you prefer easy maintenance, the ceramic sink and smooth cabinet panels are practical choices. The included sink simplifies installation for those who do not want to source separate fixtures.
Who should skip it
Look elsewhere if you require extensive storage, as this unit only includes two drawers. It lacks a countertop overhang, so you cannot place items on the cabinet surface itself. If you need a larger sink basin, the single ceramic sink may be too small. The floating design requires a sturdy wall for secure mounting, which might not suit all rental properties or older homes. You should also skip this if you prefer a traditional vanity with a solid base rather than a wall-mounted option.
Verdict: The Chyanmoo 36-inch floating vanity is a space-saving solution for small, modern bathrooms. Its soft-closing drawers and easy-clean surfaces make it a practical choice for daily use.
Key specs explained
Width: 35.5 inches
This width fits standard small to medium bathrooms without overwhelming the room. You get ample counter space for daily routines while maintaining a compact footprint. Compare this measurement with other 36-inch vanities to ensure it aligns with your wall dimensions. The slight difference from the nominal size ensures precise installation clearance.
Mounting Type: wall-mounted
This unit attaches directly to your wall, leaving the floor clear. This design simplifies cleaning beneath the vanity and creates an illusion of more space. It is ideal for small bathrooms where floor area is limited. Ensure your wall can support the weight during installation for long-term stability and safety.
Sink Material: ceramic
Ceramic provides a smooth, non-porous surface that resists moisture and scratches. This material is easy to wipe clean and maintains its appearance over time. It offers a classic look that pairs well with modern fixtures. When shopping, compare ceramic sinks to composite options for durability and maintenance requirements in your specific environment.
Cabinet Material: FSC-Certified MDF
MDF offers a uniform surface for a high-gloss finish, enhancing the modern aesthetic. The FSC certification indicates responsible sourcing of wood fibers. This material is durable for daily use but requires protection from standing water. Check this specification against particle board options to understand the longevity and environmental impact of your vanity choice.
Doors & Drawers: 2 drawers
Two drawers provide organized storage for toiletries and cleaning supplies. This configuration keeps items accessible without opening the entire cabinet. It helps maintain a clutter-free countertop, which is essential for small spaces. Compare this storage capacity with vanity cabinets that offer shelves or doors to determine what fits your organizational needs best.
Design and Build Details

Assembly is straightforward, with all necessary hardware and detailed instructions included in two separate packages to protect the sink during shipping.

Before You Buy This Vanity
You need to verify your wall structure can support this wall-mounted unit. The cabinet weighs 37.1 pounds, but you must account for the ceramic sink and your stored items. Ensure your plumbing lines align with the single sink configuration. The listing includes the sink, but you likely need a separate faucet and drain assembly. Check if your bathroom has the necessary electrical outlet for lighting near the mirror. The white high-gloss finish requires regular wiping to prevent water spots. Keep cleaning supplies soft to avoid scratching the surface. This model fits small spaces well, but measure your available width carefully. The 35.5-inch width leaves little margin for error. Compare this floating design against floor-standing options if you prefer stability. The soft-close drawers reduce noise, which is helpful in shared bathrooms. Verify you have the tools for mounting before starting assembly. If your bathroom is very narrow, the 18-inch depth might still feel substantial. Review the other 1 options to see if a deeper or shallower cabinet suits your layout better.

- Confirm wall studs can hold the mount weight.
