Who it fits

Key specs explained for DKB Beckford

Width: 72.3 inches

This width defines the footprint you need in your bathroom. A 72.3-inch span accommodates two sinks comfortably, allowing two people to use the vanity simultaneously without crowding. You should measure your wall space carefully to ensure this large unit fits between adjacent walls or fixtures. It suits master baths where space permits a wide, symmetrical layout.

Cabinet Material: solid wood

The base is built from solid wood rather than engineered wood like MDF or particle board. This material choice provides greater structural integrity and resistance to warping over time. You benefit from a sturdier unit that can support the weight of the quartz top and daily use. It offers a more durable foundation compared to vanities using cheaper composite materials.

Countertop Material: quartz

The surface is made of Carrara white quartz with a 1.5-inch edge. Quartz is highly resistant to scratches, stains, and heat, making it ideal for high-traffic bathrooms. The double-polished finish offers a sleek, marble-like appearance while requiring less maintenance than natural stone. You get a durable surface that maintains its look with simple cleaning, suitable for everyday routines.

Sink Configuration: double sink

This vanity includes two undermount ceramic sinks integrated into the countertop. This configuration allows for simultaneous use by two people, reducing morning congestion. The undermount style creates a seamless edge that is easy to wipe clean. You benefit from expanded counter space around each basin, providing more room for toiletries and personal items during daily use.

Assembly Required: fully assembled

The vanity arrives pre-assembled, meaning you do not need to build the cabinet structure yourself. This saves significant time and effort during installation. You only need to position the unit and connect the plumbing. This feature is particularly helpful for those who prefer not to handle complex hardware assembly or lack the tools for construction tasks.

Design and build details

According to the listing, the cabinet is built with a solid wood frame and durable plywood panels. The manufacturer specifies no MDF or particle board in the construction. This material choice suggests a sturdier structure for daily use. The unit weighs 315 pounds, indicating a heavy, stable piece that anchors the bathroom space. The finish is Midnight Blue, offering a distinct color option among the available styles.

The countertop is made of 1.5-inch thick Carrara white quartz with a double-polished edge. This material provides a marble-like appearance while offering durability for everyday tasks. Two ceramic undermount sinks are included, set into the quartz top. The layout features four doors and six full-extension dovetail drawers. This configuration maximizes storage for toiletries and linens. Soft-close mechanisms are specified for the doors, reducing noise and wear over time.

The vanity measures 72.3 inches wide, 36 inches high, and 22 inches deep. This size fits standard bathroom layouts while providing ample counter space. The open-back design allows for easier plumbing connections during installation. The unit arrives fully assembled, which simplifies the setup process. A backsplash is included to protect the wall behind the sinks. The countertop is pre-drilled for an eight-inch widespread faucet, though the faucet itself is not listed as included.

Setup and everyday use

Setup begins with the fully assembled base cabinet. You do not need to build the frame. The unit arrives pre-assembled to simplify installation. Its open-back design provides clear access for plumbing connections. This layout allows you to route water lines and drain pipes without obstruction. The countertop is pre-drilled for an 8-inch widespread faucet. You can install your preferred fixtures directly into the quartz surface. The included ceramic undermount sinks are already set in place. You also receive a backsplash to protect the wall behind the vanity. The total weight is 315 pounds. You should ensure your floor can support this load during positioning. Daily use focuses on the ample storage and durable surfaces. The cabinet features four soft-closing doors and six full-extension dovetail drawers. These mechanisms operate quietly and prevent slamming.
