Key specs explained for you
Flush Volume: 1.28 GPF
This rating means the toilet uses only 1.28 gallons of water per flush. You save water compared to older models that use 1.6 gallons or more. This lower volume helps reduce your utility usage without sacrificing cleaning power. It is an efficient choice for eco-conscious buyers who want to minimize waste while maintaining effective performance in their bathroom routine.
MaP Flush Score: 1000g
The MaP score measures how much solid waste a toilet can remove in one flush. A 1000g rating indicates strong clearing capability. You benefit from reliable performance that reduces the need for multiple flushes. This high score suggests the toilet handles solid waste effectively, making it a practical option for households looking for dependable flushing power and hygiene.
Flush Type: 360° swirling flush
This design directs water around the entire bowl rim during flushing. You get even coverage that helps clean the bowl surface more thoroughly. This swirling action reduces residue buildup compared to traditional jets. It offers a hygienic cleaning method that maintains bowl freshness between deep cleans, providing a consistent and effective rinse for your daily bathroom needs.
Design: One Piece
A one-piece design integrates the tank and bowl into a single ceramic unit. You benefit from fewer seams where dirt and bacteria can accumulate. This sleek look simplifies cleaning and fits modern bathroom aesthetics. It offers a streamlined profile that saves space and provides a contemporary appearance, making it a stylish and practical choice for updated bathroom interiors.
Design and build details
According to the listing, the Erdoru OPT09 features a one-piece design. This construction eliminates the gap between the tank and bowl, which simplifies cleaning and reduces places where dirt can accumulate. The unit measures 27.6 inches in length, 15.2 inches in width, and 18.5 inches in height. These dimensions indicate a compact footprint suitable for smaller bathrooms or powder rooms where space is limited. The standard height of 18.5 inches aligns with comfort-height standards, making it easier for most adults to sit and stand without excessive bending.
The finish is listed as Pearl White, though variations include Off White, Black&White, Ceramic White, Pure White, and Lily White. You can choose a color that matches your existing fixtures. The tankless profile contributes to the streamlined look, removing the bulky tank from the visual equation. This design also means there is no separate tank to clean, further reducing maintenance time.
Controls are integrated into the smart system. You have access to auto open and close lid functions, along with multiple flushing options. These include an auto-flush after use, foot sensor control, a side button flush, and remote operation. The layout keeps these controls accessible without requiring you to reach for external devices. The one-piece ceramic body provides a solid base for these electronic features, ensuring stability and a unified aesthetic in your bathroom.
Setup and everyday use guide
Installation involves securing the one-piece unit to your floor. The listing specifies dimensions of 27.6 inches in length, 15.2 inches in width, and 18.5 inches in height. You should verify your bathroom space against these measurements before proceeding. The tankless design simplifies the plumbing connection, as there is no separate tank to align. Electrical access is required for the smart features to function. You will need a standard outlet near the toilet for the heated seat, bidet functions, and auto-flush sensors. The unit includes a backup battery system to maintain flushing capability during power outages, which adds a layer of reliability. Daily operation begins with the automatic lid opening and closing. This sensor activates as you approach or leave, reducing manual contact. You can choose from multiple flushing methods, including auto-flush, foot sensor, side button, or remote control. The 360-degree swirling flush uses 1.28 gallons per flush, which is efficient for daily use. Cleaning is aided by the self-cleaning nozzle and foam shield technology. The foam barrier helps prevent splashing and odors. You can adjust water temperature, air drying heat, and seat warmth to your preference. The night light and adjustable LED strip provide visibility in low-light conditions without being overly bright. The included aroma diffuser releases a scent to neutralize odors. This setup supports a hands-free, hygienic routine for your household.
Before you buy this smart toilet
This Erdoru OPT09 is a one-piece toilet, not a bathroom vanity. You should place it alongside your vanity selections in your renovation plan. The unit requires a standard electrical outlet for its smart features. You must verify that your bathroom has a nearby power source. The listing notes a backup battery for flushing during outages, but the bidet functions need electricity. You will need to install the included remote and ensure the wall space fits the 27.6-inch length. Regular cleaning of the self-cleaning nozzle is recommended to maintain hygiene. The foam shield and aroma diffuser add convenience but require replacement supplies over time. Check your plumbing compatibility for the 1.28 GPF system. This toilet suits those wanting hands-free operation and heated seats. It does not replace your vanity storage. You should coordinate its placement with your sink and cabinet layout for a balanced bathroom design.
Check before you buy
- Verify electrical outlet proximity for bidet features.
- Check 27.6-inch length fits your bathroom space.
