SOLIDEE vs NOVAMAISON Key Specs
Cabinet Material
The SOLIDEE vanity is constructed from MDF wood, which provides a rustic fixture with a special wood texture design. This material adds warmth and comfort to your bathroom project. In contrast, the NOVAMAISON model features a modern black color veneer on its cabinet. While both brands use engineered wood products, the finishes differ significantly. SOLIDEE focuses on a natural, organic feeling with zinc alloy handles. NOVAMAISON opts for a sleek, sophisticated look with wave-like fluted panels and gold handles. Your choice depends on whether you prefer a rustic aesthetic or a contemporary modern style.
Sink Material
Sink durability and maintenance vary between these two units. The SOLIDEE includes a blue boat vessel sink, though the specific material is not specified in the data. It has a bowl thickness of 0.5 inches. The NOVAMAISON vanity stands out with a strong SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) sink. SMC is lightweight, durable, and more resistant to scratches and abrasion than traditional ceramic sinks. Its smooth surface is easy to clean, and the slope design helps water drain faster without leaving residue. If you prioritize long-term durability and easy cleaning, the SMC material offers a practical advantage over the unspecified vessel sink.
Storage Configuration
Both vanities provide ample storage space, but the configuration differs. The SOLIDEE model features a combination of cabinets and drawers to keep your bathroom tidy. It includes magnetic doors that open and close smoothly, creating a simple interior design. The exact number of drawers is not listed, but it offers various sizes for essentials. The NOVAMAISON vanity is more specific, offering two doors and three drawers. This setup provides distinct options for organizing shampoo, towels, and cleaning supplies. The soft-closing doors on the NOVAMAISON ensure quiet closure. If you need precise drawer counts for planning, the NOVAMAISON data is clearer.
Overall Dimensions
Size selection is critical for fitting your bathroom layout. The SOLIDEE vanity measures 28 inches in width, 19 inches in depth, and 31.5 inches in height. It weighs 66 pounds. The NOVAMAISON model is slightly wider at 29.3 inches, with a depth of 18 inches and a height of 33.9 inches. It is heavier, weighing 80.5 pounds. Both units are designed for standing pedestal use. The NOVAMAISON offers a taller profile and more width, which might suit larger spaces better. The SOLIDEE is narrower and shorter, potentially fitting tighter footprints. Check your available space carefully against these specific measurements before deciding.
Included Components
What you receive in the box affects your total setup needs. The SOLIDEE package includes the vanity, sink, faucet, pop-up drain, hot and cold lines, and mounting hardware. It does not include a mirror or backboard. You must check your plumbing before purchasing. The NOVAMAISON package includes the vanity and sink but explicitly excludes the drain, mirrors, faucet, glue, and backsplash. It also ships in two packages for safe transport. The SOLIDEE offers a more complete plumbing kit with faucet and lines included. This reduces the need to purchase separate fixtures, whereas you will need to source those items separately for the NOVAMAISON.
