Who it fits

Key specs explained for you

Bowl Shape: elongated

The bowl extends further forward than a round design. This shape provides additional legroom and seating comfort for most adults. It is the standard choice for primary bathrooms. If you have a small powder room or tight clearance, a round bowl might save space. For general use, the elongated shape offers a more natural sitting position.

Toilet Type: one-piece

The tank and bowl are fused into a single ceramic unit. This design eliminates the gap between the tank and bowl where dirt and grime often accumulate. You will find cleaning much faster and easier compared to two-piece models. The smooth surface reduces maintenance time. This type is ideal for users who prioritize hygiene and low-effort upkeep.

Flush Volume: 1.6 GPF

This toilet uses 1.6 gallons of water per flush. This volume meets current federal efficiency standards while providing adequate cleaning power for typical household waste. It helps conserve water and reduces your utility usage. When shopping, compare this to older 3.5 GPF models. The 1.6 GPF standard balances performance with environmental responsibility for daily use.

Height: 31.5 inches

This measurement indicates the total height of the unit from the floor to the top of the tank. It is classified as universal height, which is taller than traditional toilets. This elevation reduces the need to bend down significantly, making it easier to sit and stand. It is particularly beneficial for older adults or users with mobility challenges who find lower seats difficult.

Design and build details

The listing describes a one-piece design, meaning the tank and bowl are fused into a single ceramic shell. This construction removes the seam found in two-piece models, which simplifies cleaning and reduces dust accumulation. The finish is Cotton White, a standard neutral tone that matches most bathroom fixtures. The exterior is coated with CEFIONTECT glaze, which creates a smoother surface to help minimize waste sticking to the ceramic. This material choice supports easier maintenance over time.

Dimensions are specific: the unit measures 31.8 inches in length, 20.5 inches in width, and 31.5 inches in height. According to the listing, the weight is 40 pounds. The elongated bowl shape extends further forward than a round design, providing additional legroom for most adults. You should verify your bathroom layout against these measurements to ensure adequate clearance for door swings and adjacent fixtures. The universal height of 31.5 inches aligns with standard comfort-height guidelines.

The toilet includes the SS114 SoftClose seat, which prevents the lid from slamming. It is also designed for TOTO WASHLET+ upgrade compatibility, allowing seamless integration with the T40 bidet seat. The unit is auto flush compatible, offering options for hands-free operation. These features suggest a focus on hygiene and modern convenience within a compact footprint.

Setup and everyday use

Installation requires a standard 12-inch rough-in. The unit weighs 40 pounds, so you need a helper for positioning. The height is 31.5 inches, which is universal. This matches standard chair height for most users. The width is 20.5 inches and the length is 31.8 inches. You should measure your bathroom space before mounting. The one-piece design simplifies the process. You do not need to seal a tank-to-bowl joint. This reduces potential leak points.

Daily cleaning is easier with the CEFIONTECT glaze. This smooth surface minimizes waste from sticking to the ceramic. You wipe the bowl with less effort. The elongated shape does not change cleaning routines, but it provides more room for your legs. The SS114 SoftClose seat lowers quietly. This prevents slamming and reduces noise in the bathroom.

You can upgrade functionality by adding a TOTO WASHLET+ bidet seat. The toilet is designed for seamless integration with the T40 model. This adds cleaning and comfort features without complex modifications. The system is also auto flush compatible. You can install an automatic flush valve if you prefer hands-free operation. The 1.6 GPF flush volume is standard for efficient water use. It meets current conservation standards. You get effective flushing without excessive water consumption. The cotton white finish blends with most decor. Maintenance involves simple wiping and occasional descaling. The smooth glaze helps keep the surface clean between deep cleans.

Before you buy this toilet

This one-piece unit requires a standard 12-inch rough-in. Verify your existing plumbing matches this dimension before ordering. The universal height of 31.5 inches suits most adults, but check your current toilet height if you have mobility needs. The elongated bowl extends forward, so measure your available floor space. Ensure there is at least 30 inches of clearance in front of the bowl for comfortable use. The CEFIONTECT glaze simplifies maintenance by repelling waste. You will need a compatible soft-close seat if the included SS114 is not preferred, though it is standard. Consider the TOTO WASHLET+ upgrade if you want bidet features. This model fits well in primary bathrooms where the elongated shape is standard. It is less suitable for tight powder rooms due to its length. Compare this one-piece design against two-piece options if you prioritize lower cost over easier cleaning. The seamless construction reduces dust traps. Ensure your bathroom layout accommodates the 31.8-inch length.

Check before you buy

• Verify your bathroom has a 12-inch rough-in plumbing distance.
• Measure floor space to ensure the 31.8-inch length fits comfortably.
• Check if you need a bidet upgrade like the T40 WASHLET+.
• Confirm the universal 31.5-inch height suits your household's needs.
