Its defining specs are its 36-inch width and its split modular design. The left side features open shelves, while the right side holds three drawers. This configuration allows you to adapt the layout for narrow bathrooms or corners. The tempered glass countertop adds a modern industrial touch with black metal accents. It is designed for easy assembly and fits standard plumbing systems. The raised feet and ventilation holes help manage humidity in small spaces.
What stands out

- Open shelves have three height settings to accommodate various bottle sizes.
- Ventilation holes in the bottom help reduce odor buildup in humid conditions.
Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this vanity if you have a narrow bathroom or a corner space that needs flexible storage. The split design lets you place the open shelf unit and the three-drawer unit separately to fit awkward layouts. It suits buyers who want quick access to tall bottles via the adjustable open shelves. The modern oak and black metal aesthetic works well in contemporary or rustic bathrooms. It is also a good fit for those who need a single sink setup with moderate enclosed storage in a compact footprint.
Who should skip it
Skip this model if you need a double sink or a larger footprint. The 36-inch width may feel tight in a spacious master bath. If you require a ceramic or stone countertop, the tempered glass surface might not meet your durability or aesthetic preferences. You should also look elsewhere if you need a fully enclosed cabinet with doors, as this unit relies on open shelving for half its storage. Finally, if you prefer a pre-assembled unit, note that two-person assembly is recommended for this MDF and glass construction.
Verdict: The VNN 36 Inch Oak Bathroom Vanity offers flexible storage and a modern look for compact bathrooms. Its split design and tempered glass sink make it a practical choice for narrow spaces.
Key specs for this vanity
Width: 36 inches
This width offers a substantial surface area for daily routines while fitting into most standard bathroom layouts. You gain enough counter space for toiletries and grooming tools without overwhelming the room. Compare this to 24-inch or 48-inch options to see how footprint changes your available floor space. The 36-inch size balances storage capacity with maneuverability for cleaning around the unit.
Sink Material: Tempered glass
Tempered glass provides a smooth, non-porous surface that resists water spots and stains better than many porous materials. You can wipe it clean easily, maintaining hygiene with minimal effort. This material also adds a modern visual element to your bathroom decor. When shopping, consider how glass complements your existing fixtures. Note that this is a vessel sink, so you must install a faucet separately.
Cabinet Material: MDF
Medium-density fiberboard offers a stable, flat surface for the cabinet construction, resisting warping better than some solid woods in humid environments. You get a consistent finish that matches the oak aesthetic without the high cost of solid timber. MDF is durable for everyday storage of towels and cleaning supplies. Check how it compares to solid wood or plywood in terms of moisture resistance for your specific bathroom climate.
Doors & Drawers: 3 drawers, open shelves
This configuration gives you flexible storage options. The three drawers hide clutter like cosmetics and medications, keeping the counter clear. The open shelves allow quick access to frequently used items like hand soap or towels. You can adjust shelf heights to fit taller bottles. This mix suits buyers who want both concealed storage and easy visibility for daily essentials compared to all-cabinet designs.
Design and build specs
The cabinet uses MDF with an oak wood grain finish. Black metal accents provide contrast. The countertop and sink are made of tempered glass. This material choice offers a smooth, waterproof surface that is easy to clean. The listing notes that the glass is durable and hygienic for daily bathroom use. You do not need to worry about water damage to the sink surface itself.
The unit measures 36 inches wide, 18.9 inches deep, and 35.8 inches tall. It weighs 81.6 pounds. This substantial weight suggests a sturdy build. The split modular design allows you to install the left open shelf and right drawer unit separately. This layout flexibility helps you fit the vanity into narrow bathrooms or corners. The open shelves offer three height settings for tall bottles.
According to the listing, the cabinet includes three drawers for closed storage. Rust-proof metal handles and raised feet are included. The raised feet aid in ventilation. Bottom holes reduce odor buildup in humid conditions. The design suits modern and rustic decors. You get a single sink configuration. The faucet and drain pipe are not included. This setup requires you to source those components separately for installation.
Setup and everyday use guide
The VNN 36 Inch Oak Bathroom Vanity arrives as a split modular unit. You receive separate left and right sections. The left side contains open shelves. The right side houses three storage drawers. Assembly requires two people. The listing includes a detailed instruction manual and a tool kit. You follow these guides to connect the components. This design allows you to install the units separately. You can adapt the layout for narrow bathrooms or corners. The units also function as standalone storage cabinets if needed. The vanity fits standard plumbing systems. You do not need special adapters for a typical bathroom upgrade. Faucets and drain pipes are not included. You must source these items separately to complete the installation. The sink is a tempered glass vessel type. It sits on top of the countertop. This configuration requires you to mount the faucet above the basin. Daily use benefits from the open shelf design. You get three height settings for the shelves. This lets you store tall bottles or small jars easily. You can reach items quickly without opening drawers. The cabinet includes bottom ventilation holes. These holes reduce odor buildup in humid conditions. The raised feet keep the unit off the floor. This feature protects the MDF material from moisture. The tempered glass surface is waterproof. You can wipe it clean with minimal effort. The black metal handles are rust-proof. They remain durable during regular daily use. The split design offers flexibility for your specific space constraints.
What You Need Before Buying
Before finalizing this purchase, you must verify your plumbing compatibility. The listing specifies that the faucet and drain pipe are not included. You will need to source these separately to complete the installation. Check your existing fixture holes to ensure the new faucet aligns correctly with the tempered glass vessel sink.
Upkeep is straightforward but requires specific care. The MDF cabinet needs protection from standing water to prevent swelling. Wipe spills immediately, especially around the base where the raised feet meet the floor. The tempered glass surface is durable but can scratch; use soft cloths for cleaning.
This 36-inch model sits in the middle of the available size range. If your bathroom is tighter, consider the 24-inch option. If you need more counter space, the 48-inch version is available. Ensure your wall space accommodates the split modular design, as the left and right units are installed separately for flexibility.
